I said that The Rolling Stones song "Paint it Black" was an early precursor to Emo. [link] I said it in that it was just as sad but lacked any whiny vocals. Do you think this is an accurate description or am I getting something wrong?
Now riddle me this, does ANYONE know the difference between Goth and Emo. Most people (stupid little kids) say emo is dark and dressy and goth is mohawks and skulls. WRONG! Goth = Dark Loilta, more poetic, pain, insanity (LOVE THIS) Emo = Skulls, mokawks, cutting, hate
That IS NOT what emo is. I'm emo, I'd know. Emos can be plenty poetic. Why else would music be our lives? Emo, in short, is how strong you are. Strength is only how well you hide the pain. Of course, that amongst other things.
